Introduction
The Visual Cinema Studies project originates from an exploration of the film poster as a form of visual storytelling. The poster becomes a medium to reinterpret the language of cinema through illustration, translating atmospheres, emotions, and cinematic suggestions into an autonomous and recognizable graphic composition.
The project involves the creation of original film posters inspired by the world of cinema and developed through digital illustration and visual composition. Each piece is designed for A3 print format and includes the definition of the color palette, typographic choices, and layout, with particular attention to aesthetic coherence and readability.
The challenge is to synthesize the essence of a cinematic work into a single image, avoiding simple narrative representation and instead aiming for a conceptual and symbolic interpretation. A balance is required between visual impact, recognizability of the cinematic reference, and interpretative freedom.
The objective is to create posters capable of evoking the world of cinema through a personal illustrative language, demonstrating skills in graphic design, composition management, and the preparation of a final product optimized for high-quality printing.
A cohesive series of original film posters that successfully translate cinematic atmospheres and emotions into a distinctive illustrative language. Each poster demonstrates a balance between conceptual interpretation and visual impact, maintaining recognizability of the cinematic reference while showcasing personal artistic style. The final works are optimized for high-quality A3 printing and present a consistent, professional, and visually engaging portfolio of graphic compositions.
