Introduction
This project focuses on creating a powerful visual message to raise awareness about violence against women in the context of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25). The poster aims to communicate urgency, solidarity, and empowerment through graphic illustration, translating social issues into a clear and impactful visual statement.
The project involves designing an original illustration for an awareness poster, intended for both print and digital distribution. The work includes developing a concept that visually represents the themes of protection, resilience, and solidarity, defining the color palette, typography, and layout, and preparing the final artwork for high-quality reproduction. The poster is designed to attract attention, convey a clear message, and foster reflection and engagement among the audience.
The main challenge was addressing a sensitive and emotionally charged subject with respect and clarity, while creating a visually striking and memorable design. It was essential to balance artistic expression with communicative effectiveness, ensuring the poster could resonate with a wide audience without trivializing the topic.
The objective is to create a visually strong and socially conscious poster capable of raising awareness about violence against women, fostering empathy and reflection, and reinforcing the significance of November 25 as a day of action, remembrance, and solidarity.
A visually impactful and meaningful poster that translates the social issue of violence against women into a clear, illustrative message. The design successfully combines symbolic imagery, typography, and color to communicate urgency and empowerment, creating a piece suitable for both print and digital dissemination. The final work demonstrates sensitivity, artistic skill, and the ability to convey complex social messages through illustration.
